From Asheville, NC
Depart on I-40 E. At exit 72 merge onto US-70 toward Old Fort. Turn left onto US-221 N. Continue on 221 through Linville into Blowing Rock. Turn left onto 321/US-221. At the next stoplight turn left onto US-221/US-321/Hwy 105 N. Follow US-221/US-321/Hwy 105 N to Boone. Turn left onto Rivers Street. From Johnson City, TN
Head east on US-321/421 S into Boone. From US – 321/421 S, Turn right onto South Depot Street, which ends at Rivers Street. At the light, turn left onto Rivers Street. Farthing Auditorium is on the right at the 2nd light. Parking for evening events is on the left at the 2nd light in the Raley Parking Lot.

Most Festival performances are presented in Dana Auditorium on the campus of Guilford College in Greensboro, NC. Other performances and events at Guilford are held in Sternberger Auditorium, the Carnegie Room in the Hege Library (Tuesday evening Chamber Music series), and the Moon Room and Choir Room, both located in the Dana Auditorium building. Guilford College is located 75 miles west of Raleigh-Durham, 90 miles northeast of Charlotte, and about halfway between Atlanta and Washington, DC. Greensboro is served by eight major airlines at the Piedmont Triad International Airport, two interstate highways and daily Amtrak trains.

From the West
Take I-40 East to Exit 213, Guilford College/Jamestown. At the end of the exit ramp turn right onto Guilford College Road. Go approximately one mile and turn right on West Market Street. At the first stop light, turn left on Dolley Madison. Go to the end of the street and turn left on Friendly Avenue. Go only a few hundred feet and Guilford will be on your right. Turn right into the College and Dana Auditorium is on your right. Park in any of the available spots in front of the auditorium or drive past Dana, take a right at the stop sign, and park in the second lot on your right. Hege Library is located between Duke Hall and King Hall. The Library entrance is located on the south side and faces Duke Hall.

From the East & North
Take I-40 West/I-85 South toward Greensboro/Winston-Salem. (The interstate will split; I-40 is to the right.) Take I-40 West to Exit 213, Guilford College/Jamestown. At the end of the exit ramp turn right onto Guilford College Road. Go approximately one mile and turn right on West Market Street. At the first stop light, turn left on Dolley Madison. Go to the end of the street and turn left on Friendly Avenue. Go only a few hundred feet and Guilford will be on your right. Turn right into the College and Dana Auditorium will be on your right. Take I-85 North to exit 121, Holden Road. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right onto Holden Road (north). Go 5.6 miles to West Friendly Avenue and turn left. The college’s main entrance will be on the right in 2.4 miles (just before the traffic light at New Garden Road.) Turn right into the College and Dana Auditorium will be on your right. Park in any of the available spots in front of the auditorium or turn right at the stop sign, go past the Auditorium building and park in the second lot on your right. Hege Library is located between Duke Hall and King Hall. The Library entrance is located on the south side and faces Duke Hall.

From Piedmont Triad International Airport
From the airport exit take a right onto Bryan Boulevard. Take the New Garden Road/Guilford College exit. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right onto New Garden Road. At the third set of traffic lights, turn left (this is still New Garden Road). From New Garden Road, take the 2nd entrance into Guilford College (just past Arcadia Rd). Continue straight ahead, you will pass the Auditorium on your right, and park in lot on your right. Hege Library is located between Duke Hall and King Hall. The Library entrance is located on the south side and faces Duke Hall.

From the Airport [Piedmont Triad/Greensboro-High Point]
Take 68 South to Oak Hollow Mall in High Point. At the mall, turn left onto College Drive. Turn right onto Montlieu Avenue. Make first right into the campus.

From the South
Travel north on I-85. Near Lexington, take Business 85 North (Green Shield).; When Business 85 North and Highway 52 split, remain on Business 85. Exit at Highway 311 North (Main Street). Turn right onto College Drive. Turn left onto Montlieu Avenue. Make first right into campus.

From the West
Travel east on I-40 past Winston-Salem to Highway 311 South (Exit 196). At High Point, take South High Point exit (311/Main Street). Turn left onto Hartley Drive (at Wal-mart/Chick-fil-a). From the East

From the south (Charlotte)
From northbound I-85 take U.S. Highway 52 north to Business I-40 West to Cherry Street (exit 5C), which becomes University Parkway. At Coliseum Drive turn left. At Reynolda Road turn right. The entrance is on your right.

From the north

From the south on I-85
Exit I-85 onto Holden Road North. Stay on Holden until Friendly Avenue. Turn left onto Friendly and take it to Jefferson Road. Turn right onto Jefferson Road. Temple Emanuel will be on the left, just before the first traffic light at Hobbs Road.

From the west on I-40 (Winston-Salem)
Take Hwy. 68 North to the Airport/Bryan Blvd. exit. Follow Bryan Blvd. past the airport, toward downtown Greensboro. Exit at New Garden Road. Turn left onto New Garden Road and move over quickly to the right lane. Turn right onto Jefferson Road (second light). Temple Emanuel will be on your right after you go through the traffic light at Jefferson and Hobbs Road.

From the north on I-85/east on I-40
Travel west on I-40/I-85. After passing the Burlington area, I-85 and I-40 will split. Stay to your right continuing on I-40. Shortly after this split, take Exit 44 (formerly Exit 131) onto I-840 North. Take this to the end ramp and turn right onto US 70 West. US 70 West turns into Wendover Avenue. Stay on Wendover Avenue for about 7 miles. Exit onto the Benjamin Parkway North exit. Benjamin Parkway will become Bryan Blvd. North after about one mile. Be sure to get over to the left side of the road and then stay on Bryan Blvd. North until the New Garden Road exit. (You will see signs for the American Hebrew Academy). At the end of the New Garden Road off-ramp, turn right (onto New Garden Road) and then right again at the first light, which is Jefferson Road. Temple Emanuel will be on your right after you go through the traffic light at Jefferson and Hobbs Road.

From Winston-Salem and West:
Take exit 218B (Freeman Mill Road, US 220 North) off of Interstate 40. Follow Freeman Mill all the way into Downtown, which is about 3 miles. Turn Right at Washington Street (it will be the first stoplight you get to when you approach Downtown). You will go under Eugene Street and then Greene Street stoplights. After you go under the Greene Street light, turn Left into the parking deck. Go up to level C and there will be a covered walkway that leads into the back of the Triad Stage building. Once inside the door (if locked, use the Triad Stage intercom), walk up half a flight of stairs and then straight ahead to the elevator which will take you down to the main lobby.

From US 220, Martinsville:
220 South will become Battleground Avenue. Follow into Downtown (the street name will change to Smith). Turn Right onto Elm Street. The theatre is on the Right before you get to Washington Street.

From Asheboro:
Take 220 into Downtown and make a right onto Washington Street. Take Washington Street 4 blocks to Elm Street and turn Left. Theatre is on the Left.

From Airport, Bryan Boulevard:
Follow Bryan Boulevard. Into Downtown (name changes to Benjamin Parkway, then Smith Street) and turn Right onto Elm Street. Theatre is on the Right before you get to Washington Street.

I-85 South & I-40 West. Take Exit 131 Greensboro onto I-85 south Business. Go 3.2 miles to new Exit 41 "E. Lee St." (also called old Exit 128 E. Lee St.). Continue to the right onto E. Lee Street for 4.1 miles to Tate Street - stay in right lane after you pass Eugene Street. (If you see the Greensboro Coliseum, you’ve gone too far.) Turn right onto Tate Street. Go .4 mile ahead to Carr Street (you'll pass Aycock Auditorium). Turn left onto Carr Street. Go 1 block and turn right onto McIver Street. From the South (Salisbury, Charlotte, Atlanta, Georgia)
I-85 North. Take Exit 120 "Greensboro" more like a "split" in I-85 than an exit. Then, you'll go 2.2 miles to the next exit, 35B. Take Exit 35B (also called Exit 122B!) - North 220 & I-40 Coliseum Area. The ramp is a circular loop, merge onto Rt 220 North & Future I-73 North. Go 1.9 miles to Lovett Street (Lovett Street is just beyond the stoplight at Coliseum Blvd. - after stoplight, get in left turn lane). Turn left onto Lovett Street (the street changes names to S. Aycock Street). Go 1.2 miles to Lee Street, go straight across Lee Street (passing Wendy's on your left). Continue ahead for .7 miles (through 2 more lights), get into right lane after passing Walker Avenue. Exit to right on Market Street East - Downtown (a ramp). Merge onto East Market Street and continue for .4 miles, stay in right lane & turn right onto McIver Street (you'll see the UNCG Music Building site on your right! Immediately after the Music Building, turn right onto McIver Street). Go one block and take first right turn into the brick UNCG Parking Garage. From the West (Winston-Salem, Asheville, Knoxville, Tennessee)
I-40 East. Take second Wendover Avenue Exit-214B (makes a clockwise loop). Turn right on Wendover and continue 1.9 miles to Spring Garden Street exit. At end of exit ramp, turn left onto Spring Garden Street and follow for 2.5 miles to edge of UNCG Campus. Turn left on Aycock Street at light and continue ahead for .5 miles (through 1 more light), get into right lane after passing Walker Avenue. Exit to right on Market Street East (a ramp). Merge onto East Market Street and continue for .4 miles, stay in right lane & turn right onto McIver Street. (You'll see the UNCG Music Building site on your right! Immediately after the Music Building, turn right onto McIver Street). Take first right turn into the brick UNCG. From the North on Highway 220 (Eden, Martinsville, Roanoke, Virginia)
US 220 South. US 220 South becomes Battleground Ave. in Greensboro. Stay in the right lane. Eventually, Battleground takes a left bend across the railroad tracks, but you should instead stay right and take the Westover Terrace exit (you'll actually continue straight ahead in the right lane). Westover Terrace passes Grimsley H.S. and the street name changes to Aycock Street (you continue straight ahead). After passing Grimsley H.S., continue on Aycock Street about .9 miles to the stoplight at Spring Garden (get into the left turn lane!). Turn left at light onto Spring Garden. Go straight for .5 miles to Tate Street (Aycock Auditorium on left). Turn left on Tate Street. Go 2 blocks and turn left onto Carr Street. Go 1 block and turn right onto McIver Street. Go one block and take first right turn into the brick UNCG Parking Garage. Parking is available 24 hours a day at the rate of $1 per hour with a $5 a day maximum.

From the South on Highway 220 (Asheboro, Rockingham)
From Highway 220 North, follow the signs to the Coliseum area. Turn left at the stoplight onto Coliseum Boulevard. Follow for approximately 1.5 miles and turn right at third stoplight onto Spring Garden Street. Turn left onto Tate Street. You'll see Aycock Auditorium on your left at the corner. Go .4 mile ahead to Carr Street. You'll pass Aycock Auditorium. Turn left onto Carr Street. Go 1 (one) block and turn right onto McIver Street. Go 1 (one) block and turn left into McIver Street Parking Deck at New Music Building. Parking is available 24 hours a day at the rate of $1 per hour with a $5 a day maximum.

From the North on Highway 29 (Reidsville, Danville, Virginia)
US 29 South. Once in Greensboro, you'll pass without exiting Cone & Summit. Go all the way to Wendover Avenue West exit up the ramp. Merge into the the center lane of Wendover Avenue (the right lane ends beyond the first stoplight!). Go 2.6 miles to the Westover Terrace exit. Go up the ramp and turn right onto Westover Terrace. Westover Terrace passes Grimsley H.S. and the street name changes to Aycock Street (you continue straight ahead). After passing Grimsley H.S., continue on Aycock Street about .9 mile to stoplight at Spring Garden (get into the left turn lane!). Turn left at light onto Spring Garden. Go straight for .5 miles to Tate Street (Aycock Auditorium on left). Turn left on Tate Street. Go 2 blocks and turn left onto Carr Street. Go 1 block and turn right onto McIver Street. US 421 North. Take Exit 197 onto I-85 south & I-40 west. Go 3.2 miles to Exit 122 "Greensboro/Asheboro." On Exit 122, get in right lane and take Exit 122C (North 220 & I-40 Coliseum Area). Go 2.7 miles to Lovett Street (Lovett Street is just beyond the stoplight at Coliseum Blvd. - after stoplight, get in left turn lane). Turn left onto Lovett Street (the street changes names to S. Aycock Street). Go 1.2 miles to Lee Street, go straight across Lee Street (passing Wendy's on your left). Continue ahead for .7 miles (through 2 more lights), get into right lane after passing Walker Avenue. Exit to right on Market Street East - Downtown (a ramp).
